Did you know that this Saturday is National Mustard Day? We know it’s hard to keep track, considering that last week we celebrated National Lollipop, Tequila, Hot Dog, Penuche Fudge and Fortune Cookie Day, and also National Caviar, Daiquiri, Gummy Worm, and Tapioca Pudding Day in the weeks before that. But if a trade association or PR company manages to wrangle a calendar listing indicating that we should eat corn fritters, barbecue spareribs or julienne-cut french fries, then who are we to argue? Especially since these Brooklyn restaurants have what it takes to satisfy the most pressing food holiday requirements.
