Eat Like an American: The Best Places to Stuff Your Face on the Fourth of July

The Vanderbilt
One of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn, the Vanderbilt isn’t content to just feature a special menu on the 4th of July. Oh no, they’re giving us a chance to indulge in holiday food all weekend. Lucky us. Special entrees include the Vanderbilt clambake which consists of clam, shrimp, lobster, corn, potatoes, and green beans, and a BBQ pork steak with summer coleslaw and house pickles. Also available are snacks like fried green tomatoes, housemade beef jerky, deviled eggs, and totally addictive blistered shishito peppers. Definitely go with a large group so you have room to split corn dogs and lobster rolls. Order as much as you can, really. It’s the American way.
