There’s Now Another Bus From Williamsburg to the Rockaways

And, like its forebears at Rockabus and Alexis Van Lines, this one’s BYOB. So much so that they explicitly advertise it on their posters, in fact. Unlike its forebears, this one also makes pickups in Park Slope, at 4th Ave. and Pacific.
Brokelyn reported this morning on the newly launched NYC Beach Bus, which will be making trips ($10 one way, $12 round trip) to the Rockaways and Jacob Riis Park from the 4th of July weekend through Labor Day. The bus, run by a husband and wife that have been using vans to take people to the beach for a couple of years now, also offers yoga and pilates classes for an extra $7, for those of you willing or actually eager to bother exercising at the beach.
Anyway, not too surprising that more people are getting on the bandwagon (bus-wagon? aaah!), but nice that options are starting to spread a little further south.
