Which Subway Line Had the Most Delays Last Year?
Least Improved Line: The L Train
It was a bad year for the L. It’s performance completely tanked in 2012. L is for lame, amirite? Anyway, in 2011, the L had 84 MTA alerts for delays, but in 2012? It had 134! That’s a lot of delays and, no, they are not mitigated by those electronic signs telling you when the next L will come. All those signs do, really, is mock L train-riders with the relentless passage of time and serve as a reminder that life is passing you by while you wait underground for a fucking subway.
