What can I say, I’m a sucker for classics, and this stately structure is the apotheosis of classic Brooklyn library, a combination of brick and limestone with columns and large windows. A Carnegie library built in 1906, this branch, formerly known as the Prospect Branch, recently reopened after being closed for, like, forever. [photo]
