Where to Spend Fat Tuesday in Brooklyn
This brand new Creole Crown Heights spot perfectly calibrated their grand opening. They’re kicking off Mardi Gras with 10 Abita drafts, a Cajun-style brunch, beads, burlesque, and live music from the outer-borough brass band, Smith and 9th Ward. Chef/owner Lucas Wheeler (formerly of Rebar), will be cooking up plenty of Deep South specialties, like blackened catfish po boys, jambalaya, and shrimp and grits, accompanied by fresh oysters, “Voodoo” Bloody Marys, and Hurricanes.
