At Home with Photographer Tod Seelie
Years before he stepped on a landmine in Vietnam, the war photographer Robert Capa famously said, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” Looking through Tod Seelie’s photos brings to mind this quote—each shot makes me wish I could get a little closer to this striking and alien place. Although Seelie adores his “just big enough” home, he obviously gets out to see—and shoot—amazing things.
