How Much of Brooklyn Could Global Warming Destroy?
Twenty Five Feet
If, in coming centuries, water levels rose this much the effects would be awesome: nearly half the borough would be lost. Rather than describe what would be destroyed, it’d be easier to describe what would be left: Bay Ridge, the eastern part of Sunset Park, the northern part of Dyker Heights/Bensonhurst, Borough Park, Park Slope, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, parts of Flatbush and Brooklyn Heights. AND THAT’S PRETTY MUCH IT.
