Snacky Tunes Vol. 3 Hits the Airwaves Today
If you’re a fan of Heritage Radio, then odds are that you’re a fan of twin brothers Darin & Greg Bresnitz, the siblings behind Finger on the Pulse and hosts of Snacky Tunes, their weekly radio show, on which they interview bands, foodie guests and each other about their work and various snack-related issues. Well, today marks the release date of their latest record, Snacky Tunes Vol. 3, featuring special live studio recordings by past guests Reggie Watts, Oberhofer, Drop The Lime, Dragonette, Ex Cops and more. You can stream it or download it here.
And if you were looking for something to do tonight that is fun and also charitable, the brothers are hosting a Sandy relief benefit show at Cameo Gallery. Moonhooch, Emil and Friends and Erika Spring (of Au Revoir Simone) will be performing, and Computer Magic will be DJ-ing between sets. All proceeds from the door (a suggested $5 donation) and 10% of proceeds from the bar will be donated to Red Hook Initiative. You should go.
