Smorgasburg Is Moving To Manhattan, Partnering With Whole Foods

Other than the obvious draw — the food — Smorgasburg is really only known for two things: being outside, and being in Brooklyn.
A new pop-up project will be neither, taking place at the self-explanitorily-named Smorgasburg at Whole Foods Market Bowery. How could they?!
Grub Street reports that the partnership will kick off on October 22nd, with the health food giant’s downtown branch hosting a series of pop-up booths from Smorgasburg regulars, a collaboration that will eventually morph into a more regular Smorgasburg “Snack Bar” at the store, selling the likes of Grady’s Cold Brew growlers and Mile End bagels.
Well I “suppose” this is actually an “ok development” since Smorgasburg is closed during the cold months anyway and this just means their vendors’ delicious wares will be “more available” or whatever, but still. This is probably the embodiment of something we can complain about, right?
