Joel Bukiewicz Will Cut You
Joel Bukiewicz wanted to be a writer. So he wrote. And wrote some more. Then he moved down to rural Georgia to finish his novel. But it wasn’t working, so Bukiewicz decided to take a break, swapping his laptop for chopping wood, early morning fishing, and making things. One morning he found a rusty steel bar in the back of an old shed and was struck with the idea of making a knife out of it… And so he did, and hasn’t stopped since. Luckily for Brooklyn, Bukiewicz came north and opened up Cut Brooklyn, where he painstakingly crafts no more than four gorgeous knives a week. Yes, the scrivener became a cutler.
