Brooklyn in 2010: A 50-Song Crash Course

From the uber-zeitgeisty hip-hop of Das Racist to the stately balladry of The National to the relative unknowns experimenting with, um, witch-house, the Brooklyn music scene continued to reach far and wide in the new decade. Here's our stab at compiling the key sounds of the past 12 months in one ultra-Brooklyn (and a little bit Manhattan) playlist. For better or worse, this is how our borough sounded in 2010.

The National - "Bloodbuzz Ohio"

Matt & Kim - "Cameras"
Das Racist - "hahahaha jk?"

The Drums - "Best Friend"
Your Youth - "Rip Live"

Oberhofer - "Away FRM U"
