The Minerva Statue in Green-Wood Cemetery
Well, the Green-Wood people certainly don't allow pizza and beer on the grounds, so you'll have to devise some complicated method of smuggling them in involving tall hats, nondescript briefcases, and individual slices plastic-wrapped and duct-taped to your torso. But once you've trafficked in the contraband, head straight to the top of Battle Hill—at 220-feet tall, the highest natural point in Brooklyn—where the statue of Minerva waves to the Statue of Liberty. It's one of the prettiest places in Brooklyn, and you're only steps from Leonard Bernstein's grave. Hi!! [photo]
