A Drinking Life
Directed by Jim Sheridan, starring Ewan McGregor
This would make a great and heartwarming memoir of old-timey Brooklyn (and alcoholism!) but we'd mainly just want to see the wonderful scene in which the young Pete Hamill, atop a Brooklyn roof, watches all the lights in Manhattan come back on after the Second World War.
