Update: Dogs Are Back In McGolrick, All Is Well

Posted by on Thu, Aug 16, 2012 at 12:00 PM

Yesterday we reported, from our undisclosed safe space, on the utter havoc wreaked by SuperStorm 2012.

Specifically, the massive tree that crashed into the gate at Greenpoint's McGolrick Dog Run. Now we're happy to say that everything is back to normal, more or less.

While it doesn't look like the city has made any big moves to actually remove the tree in question, Tim Soter reports that the park is, once again, filled with dogs. As it should be. One of them, bravely, sassily, is even playing on the tree.

Real Brooklyn of you, anonymous dog. Glad to see that storm isn't keeping anybody down.
