They’re also environmentally, as well as socially, conscious. “Our products are made in Brooklyn with local and recycled materials,” Monica Hofstadter told us. “We collaborate with our clients as much as possible in the design process, so that we can produce exactly what they need.” By doing so, You & I hopes it can affect the field at large. “It’s an important time to assess the effects of the global textile industry on the planet and our societies,” Hofstadter added, “and we see opportunities to create positive change.”
