It would be easy to point to Grumpy's cameo on Girls as solidifying its standing in the upper echelons of Brooklyn coffee, but truthfully, it's been there for years. Their locations in both Greenpoint (the flagship) and Park Slope are stocked with blends the staff has traveled the world to hand-pick, alongside their signature Heartbreak espresso. They're also staffed with baristas who take this stuff just as seriously as the owners, guaranteeing that even the most basic cup of drip coffee is a lovingly crafted, if highly addictive, experience.
