Brooklyn’s Most Expensive Latte To Be Briefly Less Expensive
If you’ve wanted to try the famed latte from Greenpoint’s Budin, deemed the most expensive in the borough thanks to a $10 price tag, but you don’t want to shell out a hard-earned Hamilton for the privilege, now’s your chance. For a brief time, the cafe is discounting the latte by half.
Starting Friday, the latte, which is made from anise syrup, raw licorice powder and Ethiopian coffee beans, will be a more reasonable $5 in honor of the second NORTH Nordic Food Festival, Brokelyn reports. That means that from September 12 to 20, you can get your hands on the coffee equivalent of an Hermes bag for something closer to the price of a Starbucks latte. Worth it? I mean, we all probably spend your money on dumber things.
