TNT x Northside Festival: Storytelling Is Everything
For five days every June, more than 100,000 creative and cultural trendsetters converge in Williamsburg at Northside Festival to uncover the future of content, music and innovation. It is one of the best parts of summer in Brooklyn!
From June 7 to 9, the Northside Festival main stage will be sponsored by TNT. The TNT Content Stage, located at the Williamsburg Hotel, will drive the cultural conversation, packing the house with panels, conversations, performances and roundtable discussions featuring big names in the content-creation worlds, from industry leading topics about Peak TV, women in front of and behind the camera, premium dramas and beyond…way, way beyond.
TNT will also join forces with Little Cinema for a new immersive, cinematic show that brings to life content from premiere episodes of TNT’s new original summer series – Animal Kingdom, Claws and Will. Exclusive to Northside Festival, the show will infuse some of New York City’s top performing artists into a live audio visual spectacle full of dance, special effects and emotion.
For an opportunity to experience in-depth storytelling across many genres, swing by the TNT Backstory Studio in Kinfolk 90, from June 8 to 11, right next to the Williamsburg Hotel. There, you’ll interact with passionate storytellers from food, fashion, music and art offering intimate one-of-kind workshops, artist showcases and unique experiences.
Open to the public, programming at the TNT Backstory Studio will include an up-and-coming artist showcase curated by Brooklyn Magazine, a fireside chat with Jessica Bennett (author of Feminist Fight Club), a live show by Snap Judgment, Claws nail salon offering up free manis, daily meditation classes from MNDFL, snacks from Wylie Dufresne’s Du’s Donuts, Drag Queen Story Hour, and more. Evening events, such as a performance by the Drunk Shakespeare Society, a night of live music headlined by Polica, and more, will be hosted exclusively for badge holders.
