Farrow & Ball Is Coming To Brooklyn
British paint and wallpaper specialist Farrow & Ball has continued to expand its presence in New York City with the opening of it’s first Brooklyn location. This will be the fifth Farrow & Ball showroom in New York.
Farrow & Ball’s enthusiasm towards broadening its relationship in the Brooklyn community also lends to its desire to teach new clientele what makes the brand so distinct. Known for its signature paint displays, immersive depth of color and high levels of pigment, Farrow & Ball’s traditional way of using age-old methods to create paint is still used by its craftsmen today.
Farrow & Ball wallpaper also sets the brand apart by using its own richly pigmented paint to give each design a unique texture. Using a traditional block and trough printing method, Farrow & Ball follows in the footsteps of its founders and respects the tradition and heritage of the brand. Inspired by the archives of timeless wallpapers, fabrics and patterns from around the world, Farrow & Ball wallpaper designs are offered in florals, damasks, stripes and geometric shapes.
The new showroom includes features that create an enhanced experience for consumers and designers alike. The store has been designed with a new color palette; introducing a color wall in Stiffkey Blue, Railings, and Worsted, plus feature walls decorated in the new Gable and Hornbeam wallpapers. The Brooklyn space will be the first showroom in North America to feature video screens, allowing guests to view the entire wallpaper collection.
Farrow & Ball’s renowned Color Consultancy service will also be available, offering clients the chance to experiment with color, pattern, and paint finish. Complimentary personal color advice and suggested schemes are also available upon request.
The Brooklyn store is located on Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill between the prestigious neighborhoods of Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights. Brooklyn, an iconic American setting, has evolved into a 21st century paradigm for culture and design on a global scale. Atlantic Avenue is home to an eclectic mix of design, home furnishing and antique shops as well as restaurants and cafes. In addition to having an abundant inventory of classic American Brownstones prime for renovation, Brooklyn is experiencing a boom in new high rise development in the vicinity of the new showroom. Quality, craftsmanship, process, ingredients and the environment are all part of the Brooklyn DNA, which parallels the vision and values of Farrow & Ball.
