Toast the Return of Spring at Party for the Park
Celebrate the return of spring at Party for the Park in Prospect Park! Taking place on Thursday, May 12 at the beautiful Prospect Park Boathouse, this annual soiree benefitting the Prospect Park Alliance—the nonprofit organization that sustains the Park—brings together Brooklyn’s finest handcrafted cocktails and local, seasonal fare for a festive evening of dining and dancing under the stars.
It’s not every day you get to enjoy Brooklyn’s most beloved green space while sipping specialty cocktails courtesy of Butter & Scotch, Clover Club, and Tooker Alley, and savoring light bites from local purveyors like Fleisher’s and Sidecar. If that’s not enough, you can also indulge your sweet tooth with confectionaries from local favorites like Ample Hills, Brooklyn Kolache, Colson Patisserie, Dough, Liddabit Sweets, and The Salty Road.
Then dance it all off to a moonlit DJ set, place a bid at the silent auction, and capture the moment thanks to photography from Nelson Hancock.
If you want even more fun in the Park on May 12, join in for a special VIP Pre-Party from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Live jazz courtesy of Dandy Wellington and His Band will fill the air, and small bites from even more Brooklyn favorites like Littleneck and Luke’s Lobster will be available to snack on! (Your admission to Party for the Park is included with a VIP ticket.)
