Pusha T Is “Untouchable” On New Timbaland-Produced Track
The resurgence of Pusha T is a beautiful thing, and it’s due in a lot of ways to Kanye West signing him to G.O.O.D. music in 2010. I always think about those lyrics from “New God Flow” — “I came aboard for more than just to rhyme with him /
Think ’99, when Puff woulda had Shyne with him.” Recently, Pusha was named the president of Kanye’s Def Jam imprint, but that new role hasn’t distracted him from his primary responsibility to loyal constituents: really, really good rapping. You can hear another example of him embracing that skill set on new track “Untouchable.” The song samples Biggie and was produced by Timbaland, it also references Pusha’s prestigious new role. I had the pleasure of meeting King Push himself this summer and he’s super chill. Listen below.
