Natalie Prass Covers Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound Of Silence”
Natalie Prass bookended released her debut, self-titled album at the beginning of this year, and she’s closing it out with the Side By Side EP. We’ve heard her gilded Anita Baker “Caught Up In The Rapture,” and today she’s shared her take on Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound Of Silence.” I love S&G but I think this is their most boring song — she lights a fire under the stately original. The other cover on this EP is her take on Grimes’ “Realiti.” Since I fucking love Art Angels I’m pretty stoked to hear that one too. For now, listen to her take on “The Sound Of Silence” below.
