Ping-Pong Bar Opening in Clinton Hill
When you hear a place that offers both beer and ping-pong, odds are that you have flashbacks to frat parties and red solo cups. But we swear, this is not that kind of spot. This month, a ping-pong bar and restaurant is opening up in Clinton Hill to provide both pints and table tennis to Brooklynites.
Brooklyn Eats on Myrtle, nestled between Washington Avenue and Hall Street, will offer a menu full of comfort food alongside a full bar and a ping-pong room. There will apparently be a “mac bar” for people to load up macaroni and cheese with different fixings. Sliders and salads are also well represented among the options. The menu is courtesy of chef Tim Coughlan, who formerly headed up the kitchen at Fort Reno BBQ.
The grand opening is on November 13, and tickets are still available (and free!) So grab your paddle and get on over to Myrtle Avenue.
