Gigantic Party Tomorrow for Gigantic Magazine
Need something to do tomorrow night? Or maybe already have something to do, but want to do something better? Cool. Us too! Don’t worry, though, we’ve got big ideas for you. Huge. Uh, gigantic, even.
Tomorrow night, to celebrate the launch of its 6th issue, Gigantic Ha-Ha, the good people behind Gigantic magazine are throwing a launch party at Be Electric Studios in Bushwick from 8pm to midnight. Gigantic editors James Yeh and Lincoln Michel will be DJing, beer is courtesy of PBR, and there will be readings by contributors Amelia Gray, James Hannaham, and Erin Somers. Admission is just $10, and you get a copy of the issue which includes works by everyone from Franz Kafka (pretty sure you’ve heard of him) to Roz Chast, who just became the first cartoonist to be short-listed as a nonfiction finalist for the National Book Award.
