Squeaky Clean Bandits Lift $1,000 of Body Wash, Deodorant from Fort Greene CVS
In a robbery of Scooby Doo proportions, a two-man team managed to lift $1,000 worth of body wash and deodorant from the CVS at 218 Myrtle Avenue, police say. The suspects loaded several shelves worth of products into a laundry bag and sprinted.
The two-man team pulled off the sudsy heist at around 5:18 pm on September 10, DNAInfo reports. Security cameras caught both men, who then jumped into a car and sped away. Police are presumably looking for suspiciously clean individuals who meet the thieves’ descriptions.
