Celebrities, they’re just like us: They get their Apple products stolen. An estimated $15,000 worth of iPhones, iPads, and Apple computers were taken from the Cobble Hill film set of the upcoming Nancy Meyer flick The Intern, starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. Maybe the thieves hadn’t seen Raging Bull?

The Intern, which stars De Niro as the titular intern and Anne Hathaway as the editor of a fashion website, was shooting in Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens. The Apple products were swiped from between Cheever Place and DeGraw street sometime between 2 p.m. on September 2 and 10 a.m. on September 3, police told DNAInfo.

It’s not clear is any of the devices belonged to the big name stars or other members of the crew. The crime remains under investigation, but the filming must go on. The Intern will again set up shop in the neighborhood on September 15.

  1. I have a suggestion I can assure the film crew and Deniro if they hire a couple life long locals to guard the trailors , 1 being me That crap will not happen again , in fact hire me to keep people away from shoots instead of the yuppie crew they have , and things would move faster but let’s start with the security work . Email me I live 2 blocks away … serious Robert …
