Don’t Like the New and Improved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? You’re In Luck!
Step aside Michael Bay, it looks like we’re not ready to let go of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just yet. According to Brooklyn Daily, there will be not one, but two screenings of the 1990 live-action version, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie. It’s a dream-come-true for those who don’t believe TMNT are really growing up.
If you’re not keen to see the computer animated turtle foursome in the Bay-produced, Jonathan Liebesman-directed film released earlier this month, purists have your back. You can catch the original film at Videology in Williamsburg on Friday the 22nd and at Park Slope’s Freddy’s Bar on Sunday afternoon. There’s surprisingly no mention of pizza, so before you go scarf down a slice, or a whole pie, just in case.
