In the interest of keeping you all up-to-date on our favorite food happenings, here’s a short rundown of local food news from the week.

Looks like Brooklyn Taco and Donna in Williamsburg are making a comeback: The two businesses have teamed up to bring $4 tacos to Donna. Patrons can enjoy everything from a cola-braised pork taco to the “guaco taco.” [Eater]
Speaking of comebacks, it looks like Casablanca Cocktail Lounge in Bed-Stuy is set to simply become Casablanca following a wholesale renovation. Look out for a fall opening. [Brownstoner]
Blind Barber has revamped its food and drinks menu. So, feel free to get your beard trimmed while chowing down on a pastrami taco at the Williamsburg hotspot. [Grub Street]
This week, we introduced you to Crown Heights’ most tasteless cafe, Chop Chop Grub Shop, which saw fit to encourage patrons to drop by and “stop and frisk your appetite.” Ugh. [BK Mag]
Meanwhile, over in Bushwick, a self-proclaimed “professional party guy” is looking to open a new 24-hour diner called Amancay’s Diner with a built in Spin The Bottle table. [BK Mag]
Jay Z’s former manager and entrepreneur Damon Dash is teaming up with his son, Boogie, and rapper Cam’ron to re-open Dish in DUMBO. What’s on the menu? White Castle-inspired burgers with kobe beef, Harlem-style empanadas and what Dash is calling “ghetto gourmet.” [First We Feast]
Later this month, Green Sushi Bistro will open in Williamsburg, offering to-go and delivery options. [Brownstoner]
Bushwick has two new hotspots: On Graham Avenue, Juice shop The Squeeze will serve up fresh cold-pressed juice, smoothies and raw foods while new café, El Cafecito, dishes Brooklyn Roasting Co. coffee and pastries from Balthazar on Wyckoff Avenue. [Well + Good | Bushwick Daily]
Is your Saturday looking totally clear and free? Then, head over to the Brooklyn Navy Yard tomorrow for a $20 tour, which will include whisky and moonshine tastings at Kings County Distillery and a look at the Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm. [Daily News]
A robatayaki, or Japanese charcoal grilling restaurant, is opening in Williamsburg this month. It’ll go by the name of Salt + Charcoal. [BK Mag]
