PHOTOS: Brooklyn Magazine’s Summer Release at Space Ninety 8
Can you think of a better way to start the summer than with friends, endless beer and a brand new Brooklyn Magazine? We can’t!
We kicked off a season of endless sun at the new Urban Outfitters concept store in Williamsburg, which doubles as the event venue Space Ninety 8. Attendees celebrated the release of Brooklyn Magazine’s summer issue by sipping on Sapporo Premium Beer, gawking at our cover photos of the talented, beautiful Annie Clark (otherwise known as St. Vincent), and getting lost amongst the tropical plants and fully stocked shelves of UO merchandise.
Local artists, writers, members of the community, and a veritable who’s who in fashion attended the party. With Sapporo in hand, they drank, grooved to the DJ skills of Emily Brout (frontwoman of The Indecent), and thoroughly enjoyed the new space – which is not just a retail location, but also a zone of artistic and architectural design that runs parallel to its community and the audience of Brooklyn Magazine.
