BAM Is Hosting A 24-Hour Movie Marathon In September
This fall, BAM is set to play host to a 24-hour movie marathon fundraiser. On September 5, five hundred fans are invited to head to the Harvey Theatre for an education-themed movie marathon, which will include Clueless in the English category and Jurassic Park for Biology class, reports Brokelyn. All proceeds will directly benefit BAM’s K-12 “in- and after-school programs in dance, theater, poetry, film criticism, and more.”
Marathon attendees are invited to enjoy a slew of classic films as well as free massages/yoga, three square meals and appearances by “guest celebs.” All you have to do is pay $20 for a ticket and then raise at least $250 for BAM. Marathoners who raise more than that will win cool prizes like round-trip Jet Blue tickets and free movie passes.
There are only 500 spots available, so if you’re interested in movies and kids’ art education, sign up here.
