Greenpoint Now Has A Creperie
In case you missed it, today is Bastille Day, or, as we like to call it, French Fourth of July. There was a huge blowout on Smith Street yesterday to celebrate the occasion, but all the pomp and circumstance is really going down today. So, it only seems appropriate to put a spotlight on a new crepe shop in Greenpoint to honor our French brethren.
Crepeteria officially opened its doors a few weeks ago and boasts a menu featuring more than two dozen sweet and savory crepes as well as juices, waffles, coffee, tea and everything else you could want from a cute, French café, according to Greenpoint Gazette,
The creperie originally began as a little to-go window attached to a Ridgewood deli run by Polish transplant Janusz Grzedzica, but following its rampant success, Grzedzica decided to expand and chose an affordable spot along Manhattan Avenue and a few doors down from Charlotte Patisserie. Now, Greenpointers are invited to hang out in the café’s sunny backyard and crepe to their heart’s delight.
Crepeteria is located at 614 Manhattan Avenue near Nassau Avenue. Hours: Mon.-Thurs., 8am-10pm; Fri.-Sat., 8 am-11pm, Sun., 10am-9pm.
