Store Visit: Feltraiger
Most fashion goes in cycles, but the best is personal—and classic. Feltraiger, which recently moved to Williamsburg from the LES, is menswear that reaches through family history to achieve timelessness. We got brand manager and assistant creative director Jon Feldman to give us a tour of the product line he cofounded with his brother, Dan.
Our “OG Varsity” is a big seller and one of our key items. We pulled inspiration from our father’s old Sheepshead Bay high school varsity jacket, seen hanging on the back wall.

The Feltraiger flagship is 90 percent private label, but we do love to pull in vintage to help support our vibe. It fits perfectly with the brand, as we are always keeping the classics in mind while designing our collections. We have a great range of hand-selected vintage at a very competitive price, from T-shirts and button-downs to denim and leather.
This is one of the basics in menswear that started it all. From a simple white undershirt to the essential it has become today, it’s one of the sartorial stalwarts you can always find at the shop.
Our shirting has been the strongest category for us. Our SS14 shirting features lightweight cottons in classic patterns that are great for the months ahead.

We love denim as much as the next guy, but chinos are a great alternative. Working in the garage or going on a date, these get the job done with a durable twill and comfortable, slim taper.
Pants $145, shorts $115
