English Audiences Boo, Hurl Beer At Macaulay Culkin’s Band The Pizza Underground
It only took fifteen minutes for audiences at the Dot to Dot music festival in Nottingham, England to berate Macaulay Culkin and his New York–based comedy band The Pizza Underground into storming offstage, providing proof that English and American comedic sensibilities are pretty much the same.
The Nottingham Post reports that after just one song—and free pizza for the entire audience—the crowd started booing and hurling full pints of beer at the 33-year-old Culkin and his fellow slices, to which Culkin responded, “Why are you throwing those? I’d rather drink them!”
Security managed to “forcibly remove” the culprits, but after two pints hit him and his band member, who was busy playing the pizza box, the band left the stage.
In other, more important news, Macaulay Culkin is 33 and you are very old.
