Park Slope Farmers Market Expands To Two Days A Week
If you live in the Park Slope area and love a good mid-week shopping experience, you’re in luck.
The organizers behind the neighborhood’s Park Slope Down to Earth Farmers Market are kicking off a new Wednesday evening market starting May 14.
The news comes via DNAinfo: Through November 26, residents are invited to shop the Wednesday market from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in addition to the regular Sunday market, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to Down to Earth (the same folks behind Greenpoint’s McGorlick Park Farmers Market), residents have been calling for an extension for some time.
The list of Wednesday evening vendors–some of whom will come weekly and others on a rotating schedule–includes American Pride Seafood, Calcutta Kitchens, D & J Organic Farm, Dr. Pickle, Kiernan Farm, Made by Molly, Migliorelli Farm, MOMO Dressing, OM Champagne Tea, Pie Lady & Son, Taiim Falafel Shack, Izzy & Em’s and Runner & Stone.
Interested parties will find the market at its usual spot at Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue near the 9th Street stop on the R line and the 4th Avenue stop on the F and G lines.
