$1K Worth Of Jeans Stolen From Williamsburg’s American Apparel
If you see some guy on the street hocking pairs of “Disco Pants” and “Easy Jeans” in the near future, they were most likely stolen from Williamsburg’s American Apparel.
Today, DNAinfo shared the news that around 3:45 p.m. on April 24, a thief made off with $1000 worth of stylish, highwaisted pants from the N. 6th Street store.
According to the American Apparel website, the aforementioned “Easy Jeans” retail for somewhere between $78 and $80 while “Disco Pants” will set you back $85-$98. That means the suspect (a 23-year-old man, according to police) grabbed about a dozen pairs before flying out the door like a shadow, arms overflowing with well-fitting pants for women.
So far, no arrests have been made.
