Tickets for David Lynch at BAM Going Fast, And They’re Not Even On Sale Yet
Tickets are going fast to the one-night-only conversation with David Lynch in Brooklyn later this month—and they haven’t even gone on sale to the general public yet! As of the 1:30pm, fewer than half the seats—942 of the 2,090-capacity theater, BAM’s Howard Gilman Opera House—were still for sale to the director’s rare public appearance, mostly in the balcony and mezzanine. But the prime tickets have already been scooped up by BAM members or reserved for VIPs like press: aisle seats, center seats, all the orchestra-center seats in the first 19 rows.
Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow, so if you were thinking of buying tickets, make sure you do it first thing! Because obviously they’ll go fast. And then think about how you should already be a BAM Cinema Club member. I did it a few months ago, and it was like the best thing I ever did, not least because I have pretty good seats to the David Lynch thing.
