Forget Bottomless Brunch, Check Out Our Six Favorite Brooklyn Brunch Spots
606 R&D
This beloved Prospect Heights restaurant makes it really easy for customers to feel like it’s brunch-time all the time, because house-made doughnuts are served throughout the day. So even if you don’t have the time or inclination for a full-on brunch, you can still grab a caky, sugary treat for the road. But I’d also recommend staying for a sit-down brunch, because you don’t want to miss the grilled pimento cheese sandwich with crispy bacon and a side of tangy beet slaw or the three onion buttermilk bread, whose savoriness is cut through with salted caramel butter (trust me, it works). But if you do stay for the sit-down brunch, still feel free to grab a doughnut (or three!) for the walk home. It’s what I would do. (It’s what I do do.)
