GQ & Northern Grade Will Co-Host A Menswear-Centric Pop-Up Market In Dumbo
So, you just got your Macklemore haircut at the Fellow Barber pop-up shop in the Wythe Hotel, but it looks pretty silly with your then-too-large-but-now-perfectly-fitted little league t-shirt, discount jeans and worn out Vans. You need to complete this package.
Well, you’re in luck. On March 22 and 23, GQ and pop-up market organizers Northern Grade are teaming up to bring a massive menswear-centric market to Dumbo’s powerHouse Arena. The market is a touring one and will go on to appear in such cities as Nashville, L.A., Chicago and Minneapolis, but the inaugural event will take place in our fair town.
Menswear connoisseurs will be able to choose from a wide range of American-made “goods and gear” from Pierrepont Hicks (founded by a native of Brooklyn Heights), Rancourt & Co. Shoecrafters, Left Field NYC and more than a dozen other retailers.
And while it may be male-centric, but there will be plenty of gender-blind stuff to enjoy like food from Vinegar Hill House, booze, well-crafted bags, and music from Minneapolis DJ Jonathan Ackerman. Generally, we’re betting there will be a lot of stuff that both men and women will like if they just show up and give the market a gander.
Doors will open at noon on both days and you can head to Northern Grade’s website for a look at the growing list of vendors.
