The Most Effortlessly Romantic Bars and Restaurants in Brooklyn
Marco’s:
Franny’s might be one of our favorite Brooklyn restaurants, but with its bustling atmosphere and abundance of young families, it isn’t necessarily one of the more romantic spots. What can we say? Kids do not equal romance. And yet the perfect pizzas and pastas—along with the flawless wine list—are exactly what we look for in a date spot. Enter Marco’s, the new, more intimate restaurant by the Franny’s team, which has taken up residence in the old Franny’s space. Try the wood-grilled oysters and the chestnut agnolotti, just make sure to leave room for the honey tart with figs and a milk punch (bourbon and rum, with vanilla, nutmeg and milk) to end your evening the right way. The right way, of course, being full of bourbon and pasta.
