The Best Anti-Valentine’s Day Playlist

6. The Crucifucks – Go Bankrupt and Die
Sometimes an important part of being alone is taking the time to vent a bit of frustration. This Crucifucks song is straight forward and simply put, so perfect for when you need to let off steam.
7. Sleater-Kinney – Don’t Think You Wanna
If there is one thing I will never like, it’s reserved feminine vocals. No matter how many times I have to endure lo-fi cooing when I’m out walking around (shudder) I know at the end of the day there will always be Sleater-Kinney to make everything all better.
8. Hank Haint – Don’t Talk to Me
I’d be skeptical of a British one-man band covering G.G. Allin too. But this garage rock version is seriously raw and unforgiving.
9. Swans – You Fucking People Make Me Sick
Swans are the perfect blend of meticulous planning and strange cacophony. This song is enigmatic (and includes the vocals of Devendra Banhart and Micheael Gira’s three-and-a-half-year-old daughter), but is also strangely empowering.
10. Slayer – I Hate You
What would an ant-anything playlist be without Slayer? Reign. In. Blood.
