Brooklyn Couples Share Their Favorite Date Spots

“Ok first step, stash the kids. Spinster aunts are great for this, they love to put up with kid shit for exactly 4 hours,” Erkkinen says. “Second, brunch at the newly reopened Park Luncheonette on Driggs and Lorimer. My favorite dishes are the Benedict Bowl and the burger, I’m nuts for this burger. The cafe au lait comes in a big old Parisian bowl, you can swim in it.
Then walk through the northside, reminiscing about the bad old days. Times are changing but it’s pretty ok, because you can grab a coffee at Blue Bottle, then down to the river for that classic old New York thing, watching guys catch porgy and monkfish off the brand-new piers.”
