There Was A Shooting In Park Slope This Morning
Brooklyn Paper is reporting that a man was shot on Sixth Ave between Saint Johns and Sterling early this morning in Park Slope, apparently the result of an altercation.
“Everyone just started to run,” one local said of the incident. After being shot in the leg, the 40-year-old victim reportedly refused to cooperate, but is now in stable condition in Kings County Hospital. According to Gothamist, no arrest has been made, but the investigation is ongoing. Scary, to be sure, and also frustrating: the one benefit to horrible weather is that crime usually goes down. Seems like an isolated incident, but still. Not news we were dying to hear.
