Brooklyn Super Bowl Snacks: A Primer
Beer
First things first. You need to find a beer you’re comfortable drinking constantly for many, many hours. Maybe something locally made with a low enough ABV that you won’t be groggy by halftime? You’ve got a lot of good options here (Brooklyn Lager being the obvious and unimpeachable choice), but we’d particularly recommend something from Kelso. Both the Pilsner and the Nut Brown Lager are easygoing, imminently drinkable, and clock in at a manageable 5.5% and 5.75%, respectively (they also should be available just about anywhere that stocks even moderately nice beer). Drink it during all the ads for Bud and feel deservedly smug.
