Brooklyn Has Finally Arrived: The Red Hot Chili Peppers Are Playing Barclays
I mean, we always knew something was missing in Brooklyn’s rapid cultural ascent, but just couldn’t put our finger on what exactly it was. But now we know: a massive “Big Hello To Brooklyn Show,” hosted by sports radio station WFAN, at the Barclays center, the night before the Superbowl.
“We’ve taken a little time off, but this is a big event, it’s a very exciting weekend for New York,” said drummer Chad Smith. We’ll say! The Peppers? Here? Now that we can see “the Adventures of Raindance Maggie” live, are there any other mountains left to climb? Any at all?
