What single event or milestone occurred at your restaurant this year that you’re particularly grateful for?
I am extremely grateful that we were elevated in the Michelin Guide to Bib Gourmand. A Michelin award has been a goal of mine for 17 years, and to achieve it this year with so much turnover at Northeast Kingdom makes it that much more special.
What dish on your menu are you most grateful to have free, unlimited access to?
Our menu changes all the time, but for right now it is the roasted sweetbreads with carrots and farro.
What makes you exceptionally grateful to have a restaurant in Brooklyn, over anywhere else in the world?
I am grateful for NEK because in this economic climate, to have a steady job where I enjoy my work is very nice.
