Good news for anyone already coping with the cold weather by crafting elaborate plans for the summer: roller coaster makers Zamperla USA have released plans for their re-boot of the thunderbolt, in the form of a bonkers new animated video.

The mock-up does give you a pretty good idea of what the 65 mph ride (which will reportedly use up 2,000 feet of track) will look like, but is also a good opportunity to see a bunch of uncanny valley-residing cartoons careen around, screaming to the tune of a vaguely sinister guitar riff. Anyway, just watch it for yourself, and start bracing yourself now for next summer.
