Inevitably, The “300 Sandwiches” Woman Got A Book Deal
At this point, it’s a known fact that if you say something, anything, absurd or inflammatory enough, someone out there will pay you to write a book about it (see also: Sarah Palin’s war-on-Christmas book). Hence, the woman who blogged about her boyfriend telling her, “You’ve been up for 15 minutes and you haven’t made me a sandwich?” will soon be a published author.
“When she told us about her romantic, passionate, and very funny quest to make her boyfriend 300 sandwiches, our first reaction was, ‘That’s a book,'” said the head of Zinc Ink, a Galvanized Media and Random House imprint that focuses on “physical, emotional and spiritual health, as well as fitness, nutrition and personal success.” So, that’s that, this story has come full circle and ended exactly where we knew it would. And if you think about it, what is a book even, if not just a kind of paper sandwich? Really, what?
