Owing to a fire at the upstate factory for Gabila’s Knishes, which turns out 15 million pastries per year, we’ve been in the middle of a drought for weeks now. “My heart is broken,” says one fan. “Get over it! Get a life! It’s just a knish,” says a chef at Katz’s. Trying, divisive times. Mercifully, the factory has promised to be back in business by Thansgivukkah, and we can forget this ever happened.
