A similarly majestic-yet-decrepit theater like the Harvey, this performing-arts space on Atlantic Avenue, just a few blocks from BAM’s main building, regularly hosts concerts in its gorgeously ruinous Art Deco theater, which can sit more than 350 people. It features all sorts of performance, but is usually home to cutting-edge contemporary music; this month, it hosts a 50th-birthday celebration for Medeski, Martin and Wood’s drummer. We saw a great conceptual work by the Brooklyn Philharmonic there last year. 509 Atlantic Avenue.
